# Risk and margin

> Commercial review of tender risk and pricing assumptions

Risk and margin review connects document obligations, pricing assumptions, and tender totals.

## Risk sources

* TAGs with obligations, assumptions, or unusual conditions.
* Testing requirements and compliance items.
* Unmatched or uncertain rate suggestions.
* Disposal and material assumptions.
* Work items with manual pricing or incomplete components.

## Margin review

Review margin after:

* Quantities are finalised.
* Rate overrides are confirmed.
* TAGs and assumptions have been included or excluded deliberately.

## Practical checks

* Look for stale supplier or project override notes.
* Check that risk notes from document suggestions are visible in TAGs.
* Confirm that excluded clauses are excluded deliberately, not by accident.
