The original estimate workbook remains a source for field discovery. It should inform product modelling without forcing spreadsheet sheet names into the product IA.

Rates mapping

PriceFile informs the Rates module. Important sections include labour, plant, hire plant, quarry materials, other materials, subcontractor library rates, traffic management, council fees, and dayworks rates. Most rows map to a rate item plus one or more rate options. Matrix-style supplier/location columns should become separate RateOption rows rather than dynamic columns — one option per source and source location, each carrying its own unit and cost. (This paragraph named RatePrice, which no longer exists: the offering and price layers collapsed into the option.)

Schedule of prices mapping

SOP informs estimate sections, work items, quantities, units, rates, and prices. The current product should capture the structured estimate data rather than reproduce the spreadsheet layout exactly.

TAGs mapping

TAGs informs allowances, assumptions, tags, clarifications, included/excluded state, and tender text.

Future scope

DayWorks, VOXX, and VO Workings are post-tender/won-project workflows. Keep them in mind for future commercial control modules, but do not treat them as part of the initial tender-estimate scope.
