1
Create or select the project
Choose an existing project from the project selector, or create the project through New project or Settings. Confirm the client, reference, status, and location because these details flow into the estimate context.
2
Open the estimate workspace
Go to the project estimate. Stralos loads the project estimate and shows the main estimating areas: summary, documents, project rates, takeoff, work items, and TAGs.
3
Upload tender documents
Add drawings, schedules, specifications, spreadsheets, or CSV files from the Documents tab. Wait for scan and extraction to finish before downloading or reviewing suggestions.
4
Review suggestions
Open pending document suggestions, check confidence and source context, edit any incomplete fields, then accept or reject the suggestions. Accepted suggestions create real estimate records.
5
Build quantities and scope
Use takeoff measurements and work items to structure the estimate. Link measurements to work items where useful.
6
Price and review
Apply rates, activities, and project overrides. Review tender cost, tender price, risk, and margin before submission.
