Your starting layout
Until you save a layout of your own, the dashboard shows the default for your role:Suggest a layout
The first time you open the dashboard, a What do you mostly do? card may appear. Tick the options that fit, for example I price jobs and put tenders together or I run the business, then click Show my dashboard. Stralos sets up a layout of up to eight widgets that suit your answers. Click Skip to keep the default. To see the card again later, click Customise, then Suggest a layout for me.Customise your dashboard
- Click Customise.
- Drag widgets to move them, and drag their edges to resize them. Each widget has its own minimum and maximum size.
- To add a widget, click Add widget, then Add beside the one you want. If every widget you can use is already showing, the panel says so.
- To hide a widget, open its ⋯ menu and choose Hide. You can add it back later from Add widget.
- Click Tidy up to move every widget as high as it fits. Gaps you leave are not closed unless you tidy up.
- Click Done to save, or Cancel to discard your changes.
Chart and table views
Several widgets can show their rows as a chart or as a table. Use the Chart / Table switch in the widget’s title bar. Stralos remembers your choice for each widget.
When a widget has nothing to chart, it shows the table only.
Widgets
Value and count cards
Pricing value notes how many tenders are not priced yet, and Submitted value how many have no submitted value. A tender with no price, or a price of zero, counts as not priced yet rather than as zero.
Needs attention
Needs attention lists what is waiting on you, most urgent first:
Each item links to the record and shows when it is due, for example Due tomorrow or 3 days overdue. When nothing is waiting, the widget says Nothing needs your attention right now.
If Needs attention sits lower down in a layout you saved, Stralos may offer once to move it to the top. Click Move it to place it under the cards, or No thanks to leave your layout as it is.
Projects and deadlines
Dates such as “today” and “in 3 days” use your business’s time zone, not your device’s clock.
Tender value
My projects and Awaiting decision show a project’s tender value the same way as the estimate overview’s Tender price (excl. GST):- Once a tender has been submitted, the submitted price shows first, with the submission date. If the current draft has moved since, its value appears underneath as Current draft.
- Before submission, the current draft’s value shows with Not submitted yet.
- A tender with no price, or a price of zero, shows Not priced yet.
